Monmouth Park Racetrack

Established in 1946 along the Jersey Shore in Oceanport, Monmouth Park Racetrack is one of New Jersey’s most historic and recognizable landmarks. Now in its 74th season of world-class Thoroughbred racing, Monmouth Park racetrack is the summer home to 1,600 horses. On May 4, 2012, Monmouth Park was privatized and under new management, and since has seen annual increases in attendance, despite downward trends in racing, as well as brought in our own in-house culinary team. On June 14, 2018, after a lengthy legal battle, the first legal sports wager in the Garden State’s history was placed by Governor Phil Murphy at the Monmouth Park Sports Book by William Hill. Located on the first floor of the Grandstand, the sports book is now open seven days a week. Monmouth Park truly offers something for all sports enthusiasts. However, we offer much more than just a racing facility. Non-live racing days are busy in their own right with many different types of events including weddings, expos, corporate and social events. We have a world-class restaurant, Blu Grotto on premise as well as our two “state of the art” 18-hole mini golf courses, Bluegrass, which were designed and built by world famous Harris Golf to provide fun for all ages and skill levels. Monmouth Park is not only a staple of the Jersey Shore, but a legacy for all of New Jersey.
